Meet Your Doula

Bailey Jones
My journey into birthwork started during my sophomore year of college. While researching the effects of maternal health on pregnancy outcomes, I discovered that birth was not at all like the movies. In fact, I uncovered a truth that has been too easily dismissed for far too long - that from conception to labor, and birth to breastfeeding, a woman’s body is capable of some truly remarkable things.
My fascination on the subject of pregnancy slowly became a passion, and as I completed my degree I was introduced to the term “doula”. I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BS in Human Development and Family Sciences and a minor in Nutrition, and shortly after I began my journey to becoming a doula.

I returned to my home state of Texas where I completed my certifications through the International Doula Institute. Shorty after I began seeing clients, I met and married my sweet husband and came to Knoxville in 2023.

I believe that the ability to give birth is a gift that women were blessed with. As your doula, my highest priority is to provide the kind of service that makes you feel at peace as you patiently await the arrival of your baby, and empowered as you discover new strengths within yourself.
