Birth Care

Support before, during, and immediately

following the birth of your child

  • 3 prenatal appointments encompassing:

    • intial consultation

    • discussion and discovery of your birth preferences

    • creation of your birth plan

    • childbirth education

    • comfort measure preparation

  • ​attendance at one additional prenatal appointment with your care provider - optional

  • text/call/email support throughout your pregnancy

  • on call service starting at 38 weeks

  • continuous labor support during active labor and delivery

  • 1 postpartum follow-up visit

Postpartum Care

5 hour in home visits that will focus on your individually curated care plan​​​

​​

  • assessment of the needs of the family

  • newborn care education

  • breastfeeding assistance

  • light housework, tidying, and organization

  • grocery shopping

  • meal prep​

  • laundry upkeep

  • support of parenting choices

  • assistance with older sibling adjustment

  • encouragement and emotional support

  • flexibilty on additional family specific needs​​

​$35/hour

2 or 3 days per week

Retainer Fee: After deciding that Salt & Light is the right fit for you, a deposit of $300 will hold your spot on the calendar. The remaining balance will be due by 38 weeks.
